Elif Giray: Forever

Elif Giray seeks to investigate the themes of memory, relationships and the passage of time. The work is always intuitive; she plays around until landing on something that feels right, allowing her unconscious to lead, and pieces unfold in the process. Influences include abstract expressionism and the automatism movement. “Forever” encapsulates the ethos in which she creates, but offers only a glimpse of her range.
